Chamberlain Coffee, an innovative brand pioneered by YouTube sensation Emma Chamberlain, has successfully raised $7m in funding. This latest round will fuel the expansion of the company’s national retail presence and development of a new ready-to-drink (RTD) cold brew latte line.
Emma Chamberlain founded the coffee company in 2019. It was relaunched in 2020 as a suite of products in the midst of the pandemic. At the time of this post, she has over 12 million subscribers on YouTube and 16.1 million on Instagram.
A key figure in Gen Z and Millennial culture, Chamberlain has used her unique blend of authenticity and relatability to carve out a distinctive niche in the coffee market. Chamberlain’s whimsical touch on the brand – including fun, colorful packaging and playful product names – offers a breath of fresh air in the traditionally serious, high-end coffee sector.
“We’re extremely grateful to our returning investors for continuing to believe in the brand and the new ones who are coming on board, sharing in our vision for this next chapter at Chamberlain Coffee,” stated Christopher Gallant, Chamberlain Coffee CEO.
Having made its mark in the online market, Chamberlain Coffee has plans to make a leap to brick-and-mortar retail stores. With the launch of an exclusive ready-to-drink beverage line at Walmart and coffee products at select Sprouts, the brand is showing a strong inclination towards a broadened appeal.
“Creating a uniquely inviting coffee brand has been my dream for so long now, and having key investors back us allows us to build Chamberlain Coffee in ways that feel fresh and exciting,” said Emma Chamberlain.
Emma’s innovative approach to coffee and the brand’s focus on the youth market may well see Chamberlain Coffee become a beloved household name among younger coffee lovers.
